Dellemuse is a free service that enriches the cultural experience in museums and historical buildings through AI-generated audio guides that visitors can listen to on their mobile phones.
The institution uploads and manages its permanent and temporary works and exhibitions using a simple web application. Each exhibition, and each work within it, can have a curatorial text that is edited by the institution in the same web application.
Based on curatorial texts, the system uses Artificial Intelligence to translate the texts and automatically generate high-quality audio guides in multiple languages, which can also include classical or popular music to help the visitor interact with the artwork.
Each work and exhibition may include a specialized audio guide for people with low vision or blindness. This accessible audio guide can be comprehensive or function as a detailed visual description complementing the primary audio guide.
